ABOUT US
OUR STORY
Skyvast Global Initiative began with a group of Kenyan pioneers from rural communities, where access to water, education, and healthcare was limited. Driven by determination and the power of education, some seized opportunities abroad, gaining valuable experiences and insights to drive change.
Now based in America, they are committed to sponsoring the initiative, using their expertise in public health, environmental sciences, and social entrepreneurship to create sustainable change. Focused on Kenya, the project is set to expand across Africa in the near future.
How Skyvast global initiative
was born
In the U.S., these Kenyan pioneers saw innovative approaches to social impact and community development that could be transformative for the villages back home. They learned how clean water, accessible education, and sustainable enterprises could completely reshape the lives of struggling communities. They gathered knowledge, formed networks, and envisioned a model that could uplift the most underserved areas of Kenya, especially the arid and semi-arid regions like Samburu.
Fueled by this passion, the pioneers came together, united by a common purpose and a shared Kenyan heritage. They realized that they didn’t have to wait to return home to make an impact—they could start right from where they were, building a bridge across continents. And so, in 2015, Skyvast Global Initiative was born, with a bold mission to empower communities through a three-nexus approach: restoration, enterprise creation, and food sufficiency.
